We are pleased to announce that voting for the upcoming election for the role of Chair Elect on the Quality of Life Group (QLG) Executive Committee is now open.

The voting link is being sent separately via the ElectionBuddy software, and the election will be open for active QLG members until Tuesday 16 June. If you are an active member and have not received a email with a voting link please check your spam folder and if you have any issues contact Amy Thomas at chair.eortcqlg@soton.ac.uk.

📢 Initial announcement – Call for candidates (12 May 2026)

We are pleased to announce the upcoming election for the position of Chair-Elect of the Quality of Life Group (QLG) Executive Committee. The Chair-Elect will commence their term during the Autumn 2026 QLG meeting in Zagreb. They will work closely with the current Chair for a transitional period in preparation for succeeding as Chair at the Autumn 2027 QLG meeting in Warsaw.

Please find here a role specification document providing further details on the Chair-Elect role, responsibilities, and expected commitment. Please contact Amy Thomas at chair.eortcqlg@soton.ac.uk if you have any questions.

We invite interested members to submit their candidacy.

Application Requirements

The candidate must be a registered EORTC member and QLG active member.

Candidates are invited to submit the following:

  • One-page CV
  • One-page letter of motivation
  • Names of two QLG active members who support your candidacy
    (Please note: supporters cannot be current Executive Committee members)
