I have an on-going QLG-funded project. Do collaborators need a contract?
Collaborators can work without extra contracts or simply with a memorandum of understanding. This is the best and most common option.
However, if the collaborator’s institution requires a contract, then the treasurer can prepare it.
Please note: A collaborator contract can only be finalised after the main contract is ready and signed.
I would like to be a part of the Executive Committee
“under construction”
I would like to request payment of grant money
Instructions for invoicing
PDFPlease note that payment can only be made based on an invoice issued from the institution that holds the project’s grant contract. The instructions for the information needed in the invoice are listed in the pdf document here.
I would like to request payment of per-patient fees to my institution
Instructions for invoicing
PDFPlease note that per-patient payments that are not being used to cover travel to a QLG meeting can only be made based on an invoice issued from the institution where the patients were enrolled. The instructions for the information needed in the invoice are listed in the pdf document here. If you want to use your per-patient payments to cover expenses related to travel to a QLG meeting, please see the section “I would like to ask for a refund of my expenses to my personal account”
I would like to ask for a refund of my expenses to my personal account
Payment for expenses related to QLG events can be made using this form:
PDFYou must indicate which project you would like to have the expenses charged against, and there is a field for this on the form. Note that per-patient fees are only available for pay out once a project has finished patient enrolment and the PI has sent a list to the Treasurer containing the amounts each collaborator in the project is entitled to. If you are a member of the executive asking for expenses related to a QLG meeting or an executive meeting, or you are the official liaison for a DOG asking for expenses related to attending the other group’s meeting, you don’t need a project number and can just check one of the two boxes for this on the form.
I would like to develop an EORTC Questionnaire Module
If you do not wish to apply for a grant from the QLG to do the work but you still would like to have your work endorsed by the EORTC QLG, please contact the PMDC.
If you wish to apply for a grant from the QLG to do the work, please see “I have a research idea and I want to apply for a grant from the QLG” (below).

- See the latest version of the Module Development Guidelines.
If you have questions please send an email to the PMDC.
I would need to extent the duration of my on-going QLG funded project
Procedure for closing of grants
PDFI would like to have my manuscript endorsed by the QLG
The QLG encourages group members to submit their manuscripts “on behalf of the EORTC QLG”. This means that the group endorses and supports the publication. Practically, the Executive Committee will review the manuscript before submission, to check that it is line with the well-established processes and strategy of the group, as outlined in the Manuals.
