Committees

The Executive Committee (EC) is comprised of 11 members led by the group officers (Chair, Secretary and Treasurer). These elected active members of the Quality-of-Life Group work together to ensure the group functions positively and productively, fulfilling the core strategy and aims of the QLG.

The committee has two co-chairs, one for modules and one for projects/non-modules. The two co-chairs are both elected members of the Executive Committee of the Quality of Life Group. In addition, the PMDC is composed of two elected members of the Quality of Life Group, and two staff members from the EORTC Quality of Life Department. The committee is supported by three staff members from the Quality of Life Department. Currently the committee consists of:

The Grant Review Committee (GRC) consists of 5 members (one GRC chair and four active Quality of Life Group members) with clinical and research experience in the field of health-related quality of life (HRQoL). The GRC chair is an elected member of the Executive Committee. The GRC members are supported by three members of the Quality-of-Life Department (QLD). The GRC members are responsible for evaluating the QLG grant applications including the expert reviews that have been carried out as part of the QLG review process and provide advice to the QLG Executive Committee (EC) on the grant applications and on other GRC topics.
