Recent treatment advancements have extended survival rates for patients with MSCC, highlighting the importance of focusing on their quality of life.

This project aims to develop an exhaustive list of QoL issues in patients with MSCC in order to achieve content validity.

 

Achievements

Healthcare professional survey on QoL issues in patients with malignant spinal cord compression has been completed and under analysis.

Future plans

Patient survey are ongoing, and is planned to complete by the end of September.

For patients

Recent treatment advancements have extended survival for patients with MSCC, highlighting the importance of focusing on their quality of life (QoL). Existing assessment tools do not fully address specific MSCC symptoms. The goal of this project is to gather a complete list of QoL concerns for better evaluation in these patients.
